Excitement over new Synology NAS

So continuing from the last note, this new something I was talking about is a Synology NAS which is a network attached storage where I can have a pool of hard drives together to make one storage unit.

It is the first one that I've had in a long time. The last one that I had was from Western Digital called My Cloud and although that was the new and interesting thing as far as drives go, that pales in comparison to this new setup that I have and it comes with a plethora of apps for just about everything I would need to have all of my data in the cloud.

My own cloud. A cloud that I do not have to pay a monthly fee for and then get locked out because of instability with the provider.

It's quite exciting and if it wasn't for the fact that I had to go to work today I would be spending all day and night again playing around with it.

This excitement will last a while which is good because I don't have much to get excited about recently and all I do is work.

So let the excitement commence.
